OK GOGH!

I was recently writing a piece for Guilt & Pleasure magazine about my chronic tinnitus and was mentioning Van Gogh - how some have suggested he had Meniere's Disease (with which I was once mistakenly diagosed) and that led me to make this:

I too have been diagnosed with Meniere's Disease. I really don't think that I have it.
Could you please let me know why your doctor thought that you had it and also, how you discovered that you did not have it?
